Accu-Path Band Saw Laser
The Accu-Path Band Saw Laser is designed to attach to the top blade cover on the band saw to project a laser line for the path of the band saw blade through the material you are cutting. This way you know exactly where your blade will cut. This makes for accurate cutting especially when using the Accu-Wedge and Accu-Slot accessories for the Accu-Slice System. It also makes for safer operation of your band saw because you know exactly where you are cutting and you can avoid getting our hands in the path of the band saw blade.
The Accu-Path system has been used and applied to a wide variety of applications including:
The laser is attached to the top cover of your band saw. It has a slot in the mounting plate to enable the adjustment left to right. In addition, the laser can be adjusted by rotating it in the mount and then fastening it in place with the set screw to align the laser beam to reflect off the teeth of the band saw blade and then project a parallel cut on the surface of the material being sliced. .
Two Models of the Accu-Path are now available - the Model AS410 and the Model AS412.

AS410 - Original Version of the Accu-Path with a Battery Pack
The Original version of the Accu-Path includes the Line Laser module, the aluminum L-Bracket with two mounting magnets and a battery pack with an ON/OFF switch. The battery pack requires two AA batteries (not Included).
The two magnets on the aluminum L-bracket hold the laser module on the side of the band saw. These can be slide to accurately position the laser but the magnets are quite strong and will not move due to vibration of the band saw during operation. The battery pack is also attached to the cover of the band saw using a Velcro strip.
AS412 - New - AC Accu-Path with 5 Volt Power Supply and Switch Plug
This latest version of the Accu-Path replaces the battery with a 5 volt DC power supply that plugs into a standard AC outlet. It can accept input from either 110 or 240 volt AC. The output of the power supply is 5 volts and 1.0 amp which provides for a slightly stronger laser beam.
This AC Accu-Path includes the following:
AS415 - UPGRADE your Existing Accu-Path If you already have the standard Accu-Path battery version and would like to upgrade it to the AC version, we have available an upgrade package which contains the following:
Missing from this upgrade package are the aluminum L-Bracket mount and the magnets. |
